Included are interviews with eyewitnesses, law enforcement officials, Kennedy family acquaintances, schoolchildren, authors, researchers, and over 100 members of the news media. The museum hopes that the collection will construct a more complete portrait of the life, death, and legacy of President John F. Kennedy and of the history of the 1960’s in a way that history books cannot. I shared my recollections of the president’s unforgettable “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech in Berlin on June 26, 1963. The oral histories are available to the public. For additional information please visit www.jfk.org.
